Doggie news from around the globe...I just want to say good-bye to Chanel, the oldest dog on record, who passed away at the age of 147 (doggie years). I hear she lived a long, happy life with her mom, Denice Shaughnessy. Denice adopted Chanel when she was just 6 weeks old. They've been together for a very long time, so Chanel's mom will need lots of prayers.
Chanel was given a certificate from Guinness World of Records officials at her 21st birthday party in Manhattan.
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups were her favorite treat. Denice said that once she ate an entire bag of them! (How I would like to know what a peanut butter cup tastes like!)
RIP Chanel.
