Numerous searches have turned up no information - her case is going cold. Please see the description on this little girl and contact authorities if you know of her whereabouts! Alone For 3.25 Hours Today

I don't know where Mom went (maybe to the park without me), but I was home alone for 3.25 hours today. I hate to be alone. When she finally got home, she gave me a treat (chicken flavored!) and took me for a long walk... I had no choice but to forgive her.

I heard Mom talking on the phone tonight something about a Pug Play Group. I don't know all the details, but I think it's something I could be interested in. I love to play with other dogs! Especially Pugs! I met a cute Pug at the drive-in theater 3 weeks ago. Her name was Rosie. It seemed that I liked Rosie more than she liked me; isn't that the way it goes though? Anyways, I'll give you all the details on "Pug Play" just as soon I learn them.

Dang... too short to order

Almost every day my mom and I walk past Dunkin' Donuts, but we've never stopped. Today no cars were at the drive-thru, so I was allowed to go inspect. The pictures of the sandwiches looked really yummy and I would have ordered one, had the speaker been a little lower - dang - couldn't quite reach it:( Don't feel sad for me though - I got a nice treat when we returned home. I'm so lucky that I got my treat, because just before we went on our walk, I almost got into the kitty litter, and I brought dirty socks from the bathroom to the livingroom. Mom kind of laughed about the socks but NOT the kitty litter. But when you are as adorable as I am, moms overlook many naughty things!

Chanel, Oldest Dog on Record Passes Away

Doggie news from around the globe...

I just want to say good-bye to Chanel, the oldest dog on record, who passed away at the age of 147 (doggie years). I hear she lived a long, happy life with her mom, Denice Shaughnessy. Denice adopted Chanel when she was just 6 weeks old. They've been together for a very long time, so Chanel's mom will need lots of prayers.

Chanel was given a certificate from Guinness World of Records officials at her 21st birthday party in Manhattan.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups were her favorite treat. Denice said that once she ate an entire bag of them! (How I would like to know what a peanut butter cup tastes like!)

RIP Chanel.

I Love the Park!

This picture was taken right after my mom said, "Stanley, you want to go to the park?"
I soooo love going to the park. I love it so much, Mom tries very hard not to even whisper the word "park" if we aren't going, because I get very excited! I love all the different smells there; and there are so many!

Wow, did I ever have fun! - except for when I saw Max - the only unfriendly dog I've met so far at the park. He's smaller than me, but his teeth are bigger. Today was the second time we crossed paths. But Mom protected me - PHEW!!

This is me enjoying one of those smells at the park!

And here I am two hours later. I was so tired. So many things to see, to smell... and I've got to tell you, there are many, many spots that have yet to be 'marked' by me - but I can only drink so much water - there's always tomorrow - I hope we go tomorrow!

Love and wet kisses,
Stanley

Been At My Home For 5 Weeks Now

My life before the Pug Shelter? Well, we won't talk about that. But I've lived a happy life now for the last 5 weeks. I do have much responsibility though - I have to put up with my new mom showing me off to her family and friends, take Mom on walks throughout the day (she likes to go outside alot!), keep the cat at bay, come when she calls my name (I do pretend to not hear her sometimes though - geez, give a Pug a break!), "sit" whenever a treat is offered to me, although I don't see why that is necessary, and try my best to look adorable at all times (luckily this comes natural).

I do refuse to play "fetch" though. I mean, if Mom wants to throw that stupid Frizbee, go get it, throw it again... well, I'd be glad to watch, but I'm just not doing it... what's the point?

AND, I would like to just add that if I had a dog biscuit for every time I hear, "he's so ugly, he's cute," I'd be fat! Deal with it - wrinkles are cute on Pugs!

Love and wet kisses,
Stanley
